We had the most amazing 3 night break at this hidden gem in Brighton. The owners were very good too ensure our stay was perfect. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the bar had a great selection. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Despite some minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this hotel for its superb value for money. I had a fantastic experience at the Gather Inn.

Cleanliness: The rooms were clean and freshly painted. Hotel facilities: The heating was really good, especially appreciated after coming back from bikepacking and needing to dry our laundry. Location close to the beach: The hotel was very close to the seafront, with access to the beach. Transportation: It was easy to catch the number 700 bus from just down the road to get into the Brighton town centre.
Not obvious to find: The hotel was not easy to locate initially.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being very close to the beach and offering a lovely view of the sea. It was also conveniently located near the port, which made mornings enjoyable. the hotel was right on the seafront, providing easy access for beach walks and relaxation. Public transport was easily accessible, making it convenient to get into Brighton town center.
The breakfast was quite meager and left a lot to be desired. The options were limited and the quantity of food provided was small, especially for the price paid.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was incredible. I couldn't believe the affordable prices for such a comfortable and well-appointed room. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the friendly and helpful staff to the basic amenities provided. The room itself was spacious and had a large, comfortable bed with fantastic views. It even had a fold-out sofa, which was a nice bonus. And to top it off, breakfast was included, adding even more value to my stay.
While there were no major issues, there was one small aspect that could be improved.
